Special Containment Procedures: Between ten and twenty instances of SCP-XXX13-A are to be kept at Armed Biological Containment Area-14 in individual high threat biological containment cells equipped with sound-proofing of no less than 90 STC and anti-parautilitarian thaumatological wards of no less or more than Rank 5 (more extreme measures are detrimental to the health of instances). No effort should be made to prevent instances from vocalizing within containment. The cells do not need accommodations for feeding, bedding, or waste disposal. 

Instances of a variety of different types, particularly instances of SCP-XXX13-A4-1, A4-2, and A4-3, are to be kept in containment when possible for testing purposes. See Document XXX13.94-31/6/21 for advanced containment procedures for each type of A4 instance and specific quantities requested. 

Service Weapon Forms: Scatter and Bolt

Scatter

The Service Weapon takes the form of a bulky handgun that functions like a shotgun, firing a short-range blast of multiple projectiles. By default, it appears to be some sort of compact state-of-the-art shotgun, unusual, but not obviously preternatural. At the referee's or player’s option, this weapon forms an X of floating metal, as in Control, or otherwise looks badass but obviously preternatural.

Damage: 2d4

Range: Short

Hands: 1 (2 when aiming)

Low: 1-6

Last Shot: 1-8

Special: When aimed, roll double the damage dice without increasing recoil.

Does not take disadvantage to hit when engaged in melee. 

In melee range, damage dice explode on 4s. A die may explode one time only.

Special Containment Procedures: The Rot

Special Containment Procedures: Between ten and twenty instances of SCP-XXX39-A are to be kept at Armed Biological Containment Area-14 in high-threat biological containment cells equipped with sound-proofing of no less than 90 STC, thaumatological wards of no less than Rank 5 worked into the walls of the cell, and no less than rating 7 fireproofing. All corridors and rooms accessible from the containment cells for a distance of 500 meters are to be sound-proofed and flame-proofed to the same degree.

A variety of different types of instances (collectively designated SCP-XXX39-A) particularly instances of SCP-XXX39-A1, A3, and A4, are to be kept in containment at all times. See Document XXX11.42-23/11/20 for advanced containment procedures for each type of instance.

Preternatural Powers: Evade and Interpose

Evade

During any action, their own or any other, the agent dashes with telekinetically enhanced speed out. Objects in or near the agent’s path risk being smashed or damaged. Enemies can be bowled over as well, though not without risk. 

Service Weapon Forms: Tablet and Magnum

The Service Weapon

The Service Weapon seems to be a powerful artifact, granted to you by (presumably) a group of entities which refer to themselves as The Board in exchange for your life. It begins looking like an unusual tablet computer, like some sort of seriously high-end off-brand iPad. 

It additionally begins capable of taking the Magnum and Knife forms, along with one each of an additional ranged and melee form of the player’s choice. Additional forms and form upgrades can be acquired by taking control of Places of Power.

Potent Threats and Preternatural Power: Fling

“Get the fuck out,” you say to Small Paul, in response to being told the year. Or maybe you say “Excuse me?” Or maybe “Say again now?” I mean, I don’t know you. Regardless, you respond incredulously. “I’ve been dead how long?” 

Places of Power

Agents of The Board advance independent of leveling (though they do that too, by recovering treasure or earning money as normal). But to improve their Service Weapon and preternatural powers, they must follow The Board’s prime directive and take control of Places of Power (or Power Sites). Most major complexes in the Underground have at least one and sometimes more Points of Power in them, for whatever reason, often tapped into by the inhabitants, knowingly or unknowingly, which is often one of the reasons a faction becomes a power player in the politics of the Occult Underground. Places of Power are usually connected to others via ley lines. 

Controlling a Place of Power grants agents involved a measure of, well, power, boosting the deadliness of their service weapon and the strength of their preternatural powers. Depending on the magnitude of the Place, a variable number of agents may bind themselves to it and each agent will gain some measure of power in the form of Rank unlocks and upgrades for their Service Weapon forms and special powers.

Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-XXX23 is currently unfeasible. Access or Ways to its reality are unavailable to the Foundation currently, and it is unknown whether the entity or entities that make-up SCP-XXX23 are even capable of entering baseline reality in a form we can influence or detect. As such, containment of SCP-XXX23 should focus on the location and monitoring of SCP-XXX23-A and SCP-XXX23-B instances.

Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-XXX11 is currently unfeasible. Access or Ways to its reality are unavailable to the Foundation currently, and no known means of even detecting its presence when it enters baseline reality is available to the Foundation at this time. As SCP-XXX11’s interaction with baseline seems to be strictly related to the creation and maintenance of SCP-XXX11-A instances, which currently happens at an acceptable rate, and no known means of stopping it is available at present, containment of SCP-XXX11 should focus on SCP-XXX11-A.

Asphodel Nights: An Introduction

You awaken to the buzzing of a bee. It has landed on your floral face, crawling like a whisper over the stamen of your yawning mouth of leaves and the pistil in your beaming floral eyes as you gazelovingly up at the dim orange star glowing in the dark sky, all alone. 

As the bee pollinates you, you become once again human. The bee whispers to you as it crawls, crawls across your face as the flowers of your eyes and the leaves of your chin and the vines of your hair become sweet flesh and strong bone.
